• We are looking for an experienced Building Automation Engineer for a technically advanced assignment within energy infrastructure. The assignment is carried out in an environment with high requirements for quality, safety, and compliance with international standards. You will work closely with project, engineering, and site teams and contribute strong technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle – from early design to execution and follow up. • The assignment takes place in an international, technology leading energy infrastructure environment, where advanced control and automation systems play a key role in enabling safe and reliable energy transmission. The projects are complex and site based, characterized by high demands on quality, safety, and compliance with international regulations. • You will work at the intersection of automation, electrical systems, and building related infrastructure, in close cooperation with multiple engineering disciplines. Your responsibilities will include:
In this role, you will, among other things: • Analyze customer specifications and ensure that proposed building automation solutions meet technical and regulatory requirements • Apply and ensure compliance with international standards and regulations • Contribute strong technical expertise within building automation and industrial automation • Apply solid knowledge of automation end products and system architectures • Prepare, review, and further develop: o Technical specification documents o Conceptual designs o Detailed and development designs • Produce, review, and coordinate technical documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and the customer • Review technical documents and drawings from vendors and sub suppliers • Validate design solutions against applicable regulations and technical specifications • Perform technical evaluation of commercial bids during procurement phases • Act as a technical advisor to project and site teams, providing best practices and solutions in line with standard processes, regulations, procedures, and safety guidelines • Coordinate technical matters between Civil, MEP, and Automation disciplines • Work efficiently with Project and Tender teams • Identify risks and opportunities and contribute to structured risk management • Support the Auxiliary Systems Engineer by participating in supplier meetings and coordinating technical interfaces • Support the Project Engineer and Project Manager in scope change management, including assessment of cost, schedule impact, and risk quantification
REQUIREMENTS PROFILE We are looking for someone who has: • Solid experience within automation, preferably with a focus on building automation or complex facility environments • Very good knowledge of international standards, regulations, and technical requirements • Proven ability to work in a structured manner with technical documentation and design reviews • Experience coordinating technical work across multiple disciplines and stakeholders • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in complex project environments Language requirements: • English: fluent, written and spoken (mandatory) • Swedish: considered a strong advantage

We are seeking an experienced Fire Detection and Protection Engineer for a technically advanced assignment within large‑scale energy infrastructure projects. The assignment is conducted in a highly regulated, safety‑critical environment where fire protection systems play a key role in ensuring personnel safety, asset protection, and operational continuity. Fire detection and protection systems are integrated into mission‑critical installations and must be carefully designed to meet both international standards and project‑specific operational needs. You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle – from early design and tender phases to execution, testing, and commissioning – working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams in an international project environment. Projects are delivered in an international setting with strong focus on quality, risk management, and cross‑disciplinary coordination. The opportunity
As a Project Engineer in station layer upgrade and modernization projects within HVDC Service, you will take end-to-end responsibility for the technical delivery of station layer systems across all project phases. Your work will play a vital role in modernizing HVDC systems and strengthening critical infrastructure for the future.
The HVDC station layer system encompasses a suite of HVDC applications - including the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for operator interaction, sequence and event recording for operational monitoring and diagnostics, as well as remote control functionalities utilizing communication protocols. These applications are seamlessly integrated with the underlying IT infrastructure, which comprises network components such as servers, workstations, switches, firewalls, and time synchronization devices. Together, this architecture enables secure, reliable, and efficient supervision, control, and data exchange within the HVDC control and protection system.

How you’ll make an impact
Design, implementation and verification of either HVDC applications (HMI, sequence/event recording, remote control) or with underlying IT infrastructure (servers, workstations, switches, firewalls, time synchronization devices).
Collaborate with project manager, lead engineer, engineering teams, and customer representatives to define requirements, scope, and deliverables.
Maintain documentation for system design, configuration, and testing activities.
Your background
You have a Background in a relevant field and have experience with project execution from tender to implementation.
Familiarity with Hitachi Energy’s and HVDC product portfolio or comparable systems is considered an advantage.
