If your answer is “YES”, we at Breakers are looking for a Shipping Administrator to join our dedicated Export and project team where colleagues will help you on board.
You will work closely within the team with order management fronting our global portfolio of customers, making sure that materials are getting dispatched on time while following the relevant export processes for your portfolio of countries/customers. Close collaboration with freight forwarders and ensuring transport and customs regulations are followed while exporting goods to our internal and external customers are included in this role.
There will be possibilities to work remotely some days per week.

As a Shipping Administrator, you are responsible from delivery complete, throughout the outbound logistics process including invoicing.
Working with a portfolio of global customers, internal as well as external.
Ensuring that our performance is top class, reliable and preferably exceeds customer expectations.
Close collaboration cross functionally with other departments such as Order, Sales, After sales, Finance, Planning, Production and SCM.

The opportunity
In this role, you will be part of the HVDC System Performance Department which is responsible for the overall performance of HVDC transmission links. This includes the interaction of the link with the surrounding AC-networks and related AC-Network stability studies. As a System Study Engineer, you will have the opportunity to be part of large HVDC projects and be exposed to system studies performed during various stages of a project’s lifecycle.

How you’ll make an impact
Perform studies, analysis and optimizations of the system dynamic performance for our HVDC-deliveries including development of control algorithms.
Contribute during testing of control and protection systems in-house and commissioning at our sites around the world.
Participate in different stages of an HVDC project’s lifecycle, including support of our sales department during the marketing phase, over tenders, and order projects.
Cooperate with leading specialists of various disciplines involved in project and tender deliveries.
Your background
You hold a Bachelor’s degree (preferably with HVDC experience), or a Master’s or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, power systems, engineering physics, or a related field.
Experienced Power System Studies Engineer or fresh out of university – we are interested in talents with various levels of experience!
You are familiar with programs and tools such as PSCAD/EMTDC, PSSE, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, Matlab, and/or ETAP.
Since we work in an international environment you need to master spoken and written English. If you speak Swedish it is a plus.
You have an analytical mindset, you are independent, self-going and take your own initiatives to solve problems.

The opportunity
As a Project Engineer in station layer upgrade and modernization projects within HVDC Service, you will take end-to-end responsibility for the technical delivery of station layer systems across all project phases. Your work will play a vital role in modernizing HVDC systems and strengthening critical infrastructure for the future.
The HVDC station layer system encompasses a suite of HVDC applications - including the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for operator interaction, sequence and event recording for operational monitoring and diagnostics, as well as remote control functionalities utilizing communication protocols. These applications are seamlessly integrated with the underlying IT infrastructure, which comprises network components such as servers, workstations, switches, firewalls, and time synchronization devices. Together, this architecture enables secure, reliable, and efficient supervision, control, and data exchange within the HVDC control and protection system.

How you’ll make an impact
Design, implementation and verification of either HVDC applications (HMI, sequence/event recording, remote control) or with underlying IT infrastructure (servers, workstations, switches, firewalls, time synchronization devices).
Collaborate with project manager, lead engineer, engineering teams, and customer representatives to define requirements, scope, and deliverables.
Maintain documentation for system design, configuration, and testing activities.
Your background
You have a Background in a relevant field and have experience with project execution from tender to implementation.
Familiarity with Hitachi Energy’s and HVDC product portfolio or comparable systems is considered an advantage.
This role is based at our office and test facilities in Ludvika. We believe the best teamwork happens when colleagues collaborate in person. Due to this, remote work is not an option.

How you'll make an impact
Primary contact for communication of technical matters with the customer.
Ensure that engineering is developed with complete information and/or that all multidisciplinary information has been included.
Lead development of new solutions for complex projects and challenges.
Drive completion of all engineering activities on the project.
Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
Prepare project documents in your area of responsibility and deliver within budget, scope, and contract.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks.
Ensure technical quality in contracts, other documents, and delivery.
Your background
You have an academic degree in Engineering (for example Electrical engineering or another similar area).
5+ years of experience in similar lead role is required.
Experience working with HVDC technology is a big plus, but not a requirement.
As a person, you are communicative, collaborative, and not afraid to take on difficult conversations.
Ability to take a leading role and deliver quality results.
Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing, is required. Other languages are a great advantage.
