Role
As a Software Developer, you will:
Continue developing and maintaining the software base for our multi-camera, multi-server system.
Implement algorithms that meet strict timing and memory requirements by optimizing shared CPU, GPU, and network resources.
Build new functionality and create automated tests to ensure system reliability.
Collaborate with the team to continuously improve our real-time system, used live during matches.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
At least one year of professional experience in C++ development, with strong programming skills.
A solid understanding of concurrent programming using std::threads and std::mutexes.
A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
Familiarity with network protocols like UDP and TCP, and experience with video streaming and compression are highly valued. A background in developing real-time systems would also be a significant advantage.
Additionally, knowledge of Visual Studio project and solution management is a bonus, as is experience with vcpkg for handling third-party libraries. If you’re familiar with remote monitoring, software updates, or distribution, we’d love to hear about it!
